A thing I've learned about crock-pots...

They only work if you turn them on AND plug them in...I can't count how many times we desparately needed a crockpot meal and it sat in the crockpot all day without being plugged in or plugged in and not turned on or not plugged in but turned on. I think I've got it right today though (at least I hope so or it's McDonald's tonight).
